You May Kiss My Hand
Those of you with a Y chromosome are going to love me for saying this, but it's really true. With hubby gone all week, (see previous post) I am starting to appreciate his life a little more. I've had to drive the 7 am carpool, the 8 am carpool, and, on non-school days, the 7 am minyan run. (With 8am post minyan pickup, and 9am post-daf-yomi pickup, not to mention mincha-maariv shuttle run.) He does most of these every day of every week. (All I ever do is the 6 am daf yomi dropoff, and then only in weather I deem too hideous for Izzy to ride his bike. And then I get to brag about it.) Anyway, there is some real sacrifice here, of sleep if nothing else. I guess I'll be (slightly) nicer to him when he comes home.

Imma, you deserve a standing ovation. CLAPCLAPCLAPCLAPCLAPCLAPCLAPCLAPCLAPCLAPCLAP!!!!!!!!!!
THANK YOU:)
Walk in each other's shoes for a day or two, instructive isn't it?
Don't know if my last comment stuck. I said I'm sure you do plenty of things that would wipe him out too. GIve him a day of your duties.
but the million dollar question is do you miss your husband more for who he is or for what he does? which more-be honest, I wont tell anybody.
thanks for your comment on my last post-this was clearly the most intelligent and practical comment in a long time-
prag...truly, i don't want to be a guy. at least not a frum one.
eshet...he may just get that, the first week in May. Watch this space for updates.
DM... I can do what he does, if he's not here. On a long-term basis, I would not be able to do what I do if he weren't here.
That means, I can drive the kids around and all, but I can't thank me for doing it the way he does. Does that make sense?
As for your blog... I was pretty rough on you. Glad to see you aren't offended.
I didn't mean my shoes, I meant your husband's!
And you’re right you shouldn’t trade for an orthodox man, too many responsibilities!
