Xmas at the JCC

Everything is closed today, right? Wrong! The JCC is open, and definetly the hottest ticket in town. There was supposed to be a Chanuka Party, but no one pre-registered, so they just made everything in the building free to anyone who said they came for the party. My kids played for more than an hour in the Jewish Discovery Museum, an hour in the Fun Zone (an indoor playground built out of a couple of disused raquetball courts) and we had an (overpriced) lunch in the cafe. We were thinking about going to the carnival run by the Jewish Russian Community, but it was too noisy and too crowded. Not a bad day, all things considered. I hope they run this deal again next year!
