Boots

As we have now had snow on the ground constantly for a whole month, and it will probably be here for 3 to 4 more months, my life is currently measured by how many times per day I put on and take off my boots. A sample:

9 am: Put on boots, drive kids to school. Do grocery shopping.
10:30: Remove boots at playgroup. (I keep a pair of cheap sandals in my car for these 'boots-off' locations)
12:30: Put on boots, drive home. Unload groceries (twelve bags and three boxes) into entryway.
12:45: Take off boots at home. Move groceries to kitchen.
4:20 : Put on boots, drive to pick up elementary school carpool.
4:50: Take off boots at home.
5:40: Put on boots to pick up high school girl from bus stop.
5:50 Take off boots at home.
6:40 Put on boots; drive son to floor hockey.
6:45 Take off boots.
7:50 Pick up son from floor hockey.
7:55 Take off boots.
8:30 Put on boots, drive hubby to his mom's house to borrow car to use while his is in the shop. Good thing I had them on, because the car was plowed in and covered in about 6 inches of snow.
9:45 Take off boots.

I'm going to wear out the zippers in these things in one winter.

that's why (not really, chinuch and parnossa were the real reasons) we moved from Buffalo NY 23 years ago. I hate when it snows here in NY. Going to mikvah before davening, boots on and off, then davening with those shoe boots on (it's a bit warm) and then to the office (boots on and off).......... Geesssh, thank G-d my son in yeshiva in Toronto doesn't complain to me about that!

Make no mistake: Our mission at Tip Top Equities is to sift through the thousands of underperforming companies out there to find the golden needle in the haystack. A stock worthy of your investment. A stock with the potential for big returns. More often than not, the stocks we profile show a significant increase in stock price, sometimes in days, not months or years. We have come across what we feel is one of those rare deals that the public has not heard about yet. Read on to find out more.

Nano Superlattice Technology Inc. (OTCBB Symbol: NSLT) is a nanotechnology company engaged in the coating of tools and components with nano structured PVD coatings for high-tech industries.

Nano utilizes Arc Bond Sputtering and Superlattice technology to apply multi-layers of super-hard elemental coatings on an array of precision products to achieve a variety of physical properties. The application of the coating on industrial products is designed to change their physical properties, improving a product's durability, resistance, chemical and physical characteristics as well as performance. Nano's super-hard alloy coating materials were especially developed for printed circuit board drills in response to special market requirements

The cutting of circuit boards causes severe wear on the cutting edge of drills and routers. With the increased miniaturization of personal electronics devices the dimensions of holes and cut aways are currently less than 0.2 mm. Nano coats tools with an ultra thin coating (only a few nanometers in thickness) of nitrides which can have a hardness of up to half that of diamond. This has proven to increase tool life by almost ten times. Nano plans to continue research and development into these techniques due to the vast application range for this type of nanotechnology

We believe that Nano is a company on the move. With todays steady move towards miniaturization we feel that Nano is a company with the right product at the right time. It is our opinion that an investment in Nano will produce great returns for our readers.

I remember when I was in NY and NJ in the winter and was wearing the wrong shoes for the weather and my feet were so cold.

I agree about the boot thing though. I would get tired too of having to keep puting them on and off.

Now do you know why I told you I don't like wearing boots? It's not he actual wearing, it's the putting on and taking off (though the ones you got me this year are easier and a lot better, so you might see them on my feet once ina while.).

I hope your boots don't have a lot of buckles. You need a good pair of slip on boots.

We lived in Toronto for almost 9 years. My last pregnant winter there (January baby)I had my kids zip and unzip my boots!
B"H sub-zero climes are a thing of the past as we are now in sunny (well, mostly) E"Y.
